I love writing in my journal after praise and worship! I guess that is why I also have a blog haha I wanted to share my entry this morning in hopes that it blesses and encourages others.
You are air to my lungs; Your hope fills my heart. There is none like You! You are the sustainer of my life. Jesus, I am forever grateful, forever blessed because of your unfailing love. In Your midst all things are possible. You want it ALL, You love to bless Your children so why do we resist You? I am not of this world. I will no longer believe the fallacies of things seen, but I will put my trust in You - the creator of the Heavens and the Earth.
Arise
This morning in my quiet time I kept hearing the word ARISE! I wasn’t sure exactly what God meant by this so I decided to look up ‘arise’ in the Bible. Here are a few verses that spoke to me:
Isaiah 60:1-2 (New King James)
1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.
I LOVE THIS VERSE! God is asking his people to step up and step forth. His love surrounds us and He will bless His people. We need to declare the fact that his glory is upon us and because of this let our light (His light within us) SHINE :)
Malachi 4:2
2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
Again God wants to restore us, to refresh us, and bless us! Let us ARISE and allow the Sun of Righteousness to come into our lives in order to touch our hearts, lives, souls this very day.
